All polotournaments in the Netherlands and Belgium are played according to FIP rules, unless stated otherwise by the organizing tournament committee. To download the FIP polo rules click here for the english , spanish or dutch version.

Additional rules in the Netherlands:
Handicap -4 - -1 tournament: minimum handicap -2, maximum handicap 1, sum of two highest players
shall not exceed the tournament handicap plus 1.
Handicap 0-4 tournament: minimum handicap -2, maximum handicap 3, sum of two highest players
shall not exceed the tournament handicap.
Handicap 5-6 tournament: minimum handicap -1, maximum handicap 5, sum of two highest players
shall not exceed the tournament handicap.
Handicap 7-12 tournament: minimum handicap -1 (plays for 0 handicap), maximum handicap is tournamenthandicap minus 1, sum of two highest players shall not exceed the tournamenthandicap
